Our brief was to select a place to visually explore - this could be rural, urban, commercial, historical, a building or any location that was not our home, house or apartment. We were tasked to gather content information and photographically explore the location to create a printed publication that shares our discoveries about the place.

For my publication I followed the concept of Hillsborough Castle & Gardens preparing for spring. From this concept I generated the publication name, ‘Before Spring’, and overall direction/flow of each spread. The photographs were taken by myself with the creative direction of showcasing different areas of the gardens through winter, before spring.
