Mood Food
Major Project
The World Happiness Report is an annual publication of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and reflects a worldwide demand for more attention to happiness and well-being as criteria for government policy.
My chosen target audience includes mothers with young children who are struggling to find time for themselves. 1 in 5 women experience a common mental health problem, in particular during pregnancy and it is said that mothers get an average of 17 minutes to themselves per day. According to research, baking is a way to relieve stress and focus energy onto positive outcomes to create a feeling of control. With this in mind Mood Food was created as an encouragement for mothers to de-stress and take time for themselves but also have the option of engaging with their children.
